There will be times when you are confronted with how good you smell. Be careful what you say. Admitting to using scented products may jeopardise your reputation as a mountain man. With time, you may start to treasure this feeling, and while you may want to keep using the quick option of shaving cream for everyday shaving, on those days when you are able to step aside and stop time, you will want to use our shaving soap.
Forgotten your brush? Don’t panic! Our shaving soaps can be used to create a creamy lather by hand. Simply rub the soap gently into your palm of your hand with a little warm water, and in a few moments you’ll have enough to apply directly to your skin, for a quality, moisturizing shave in a pinch.

I tried all the four Fitjar scents a while back (the Island Hopping cream pack) and have not been able to get the Fjellheim scent out of my head. Really smells Nordic forest in a way that makes it completely different from any other scents I have ever tried (and I have tried many!). So now I needed to see how the soap performed. And after a first go I have to say it is superb. Remember to soak it well and it is very easy to lather up and supersleek.
…But honestly I would buy Fitjars just for their awesome personal customer service and great coastal story telling going on. These Norwegians are totally cool! – They even threw in a complimentary alcohol aftershave moisturizer along with some very friendly banter.

Your products simply are top quality. You are up there with the best (if not the best) next to Castle Forbes and Saponnificio Varesino in my opinion (and I tried many many others). That is my honnest opinion. The skin-caring properties, glide and fragrance of your shaving soap are still a fraction better than the other 2. Keep that recipe please, it is top.

I stayed in a hotel in Bergen which had Fjellheim soap and body wash and the scent was so amazing that I had to try other products. I bought this shaving soap for my dad and he says it feels as if he was on top of a mountain where he grew up surrounded by the pine trees of his youth 🙂 I think it lasted him a year and then I started getting hints to get ‘that Norwegian soap.’ Now I bought few shaving soaps plus shaving creams for extended family. “Fjellheim is Norwegian for ‘mountain home’. A sniff of this puck will take you deep into a boreal forest and make you yearn to pick up your axe. It’s a bright, tart evergreen scent without a speck of dirt in it. As the label says, it smells “as if you rolled in the juniper bushes on you way over the mountain.” Thankfully, there’s no oily reek of turpentine, just a pure, mostly pine scented soap that’s nice on the face, washes off clean, and leaves your skin smooth. It gave me an excellent shave.”

I think that shaving had to be a pleasure. That is why I am always looking for a good soap and a wonderful scent. I bought Fjellheim shaving soap just trusting why the description said and I am bound to say that I could not believe the scent when I opened the jar the first time. I was surrounded by a juniper wood while a light breeze was spreading around a balsamic scent.
Of course the soaps leave your skin smooth and grant a perfect shaving too.

I just received my order with Fjellheim shaving soap and I am bout to say that it is simply fantastic. Great scent, enlarging lungs, which wake-up all the senses with a fantastic lather which helps the razor and leave the skin hydratated and soft. Such a good experience.

As always, the Fitjar line of products fails to disappoint. My favorite is Fjellheim. It is always consistent and has an elegant, luxurious scent and texture. The shave is so smooth and I always feel like I’ve taken a fresh breath of alpine air. Takes me back to long days of rock climbing and hiking,
