Forgotten your brush? Don’t panic! Our shaving soaps can be used to create a creamy lather by hand. Simply rub the soap gently into your palm of your hand with a little warm water, and in a few moments you’ll have enough to apply directly to your skin, for a quality, moisturizing shave in a pinch.

well I’ve never come across a soap that lathers so quickly at the sight of water and a brush quite like this. It just exploded. I can’t wait to try the creams now! The feel during the shave and post shave was up there with the best I’ve ever had. Lovely menthol tingle and then just this really clean scent coming through to give it an edge so it’s not just a menthol smell. Fantastic stuff and great customer service.

I’ve used the soap and the cream Folgefonn.The scent is wonderfully fresh and the lather thick and creamy.These aren’t the cheapest soaps on th market,but surely the best.You get what you pay for and some!

Once again another incredible soap from the Fitjar collection. Folgefonn is mildly mentholated and doesn’t overwhelm like some other soaps out there. I like the way the scent develops with each pass. Produces a fabulous slick lather and a great shave.

Hands down the best soap I’ve ever used. Very easy to lather, and lasts amazingly for a long time. Have been using it with an electric shaver and a Japanese straight razor.

What can I say .. pure shaving soap perfection!
Folgefonn is fresh and awakening but there is no exaggeration in menthol-eucalyptus which some shaving soaps have, you have this very difficult exercise exactly right.
It is a nice blend of menthol/eucalyptus and pine which provides aroma therapy while shaving
My test-opinion:
lathering 10/10 (you earn 11/10, best I ever had)
glide 10/10
residual slickness 9/10 (this is a very high score)
skin caring 10/10 (you earn here also 11/10)
fragrance 10/10 for me, but that is personal though
The after shave balm makes it perfect after the shave, feeding the skin. The softness of the skin stays very long (I feel it sometimes disappear with other aftershaves after half an hour)

偶然之下認識Fitjar Islands這品牌，其實已經記不起怎樣認識。但一直以來都被北歐簡約設計所吸引，即使擁有大量wet shaving用品，亦決定購買了Folgefoon shaving soap; Fjellheim Aftershave Lotion及Slatteroy shaving soap with rosewood bowl。三款產品我都非常滿意，先說Slatteroy, 味道很獨特除有一股淡淡檸檬香味外當中更有糖果的甜味，而且已於起出濃厚的泡沫。剃鬚後使用Fjellheim aftershave lotion更加感覺無與倫比，lotion容易被皮膚吸收，用後令剃鬚部位頓時覺得非常滑溜，再沒有感覺乾燥繃緊的感覺，我無法形容Fjellheim的氣味，可能我生活的地方沒有森林，無法領略森林的大自然氣息，但味道絕對並不難聞。我一直喜愛薄荷香氣，亦有很多薄荷香氣產品，可惜我不能經常使用，因我皮膚對薄荷會有敏感反應，經常發紅及痕癢，不過Folgefoon同樣有薄荷及桉樹油成份，但未有導致我皮膚有敏感徵狀。
Fitjar Islands亦附送我一小塊Stubble softener給我試用，無香氣的softener, 使用後確能令鬚根變軟。
小小美中不足之處：我見youtuber及reviewer留言，會配備一小支Jojoba Oil予rosewood bowl買家，以塗抹rosewood bowl內外作木質保養，可惜沒有送給我！????
Conclusion：It’s worth to wait for 6 days，8857 km from Fitjar to my place.
