About two years ago I started with traditional wet shaving. Since then I have tryed many brands and different products.

Fitjar products are top quality and they perform just as good as I expected them to after reading the descriptions. The customer service is also outstanding and it is obvious that they are dedicated to make the best products and give their customers a great experience.

I really enjoy the scent that for me is both sweet and fresh. The soap is very easy to lather and gives great procection and glide. (I use silvertip badger brushes and face lather.)

I also use the AS moisturiser and the stubble softener. All the products combined give the best shaving and post-shave that I have experienced.

Fantastic shaving soap. As are all the Fitjar soaps, you can’t go wrong with any of them. Slatteroy is another perfect example. Fitjar is pretty much the only soap maker I use now.

  3. Gustav

Citrus and spice, stuff from far away. The soap has a lovely scent that can also be reminded of the winter times, at christmas when you press cloves into an orange to spread a lovely scent of the holidays.

I went ahead and got the soap and a refill, but almost unneccessary because the soap lasts for so long, making this a great investment for your shave cabinette and for yourself.

The soap is also easy to lather and does not dry my skin. I can honestly say that I did not imagine finding my favorite soapmaker when I first ordered my Island Hopping kit.

Gorgeous smelling shaving soap with wonderful performance. I recently ordered some to shave on the morning of my wedding and it’ll always hold a special place in my heart.

Superbe senteur citronnée de verveine, légèrement épicée. Bonne mousse protectrice. C’est un très bon savon. Je recommande

Worried that your soap’s scent will fade before you use it up? Don’t be! I recently bought an old NOS puck of East Indies soap made by Fitjar Soaps (the precursor to Fitjar Islands). It has many of the same warm and spicy fragrance notes as Slåtterøy. Working with the ever helpful staff of Fitjar Islands, we figured that this East Indies soap must be over ten years old. It still smells spicy and delicious, and it lathers just like a new puck. Long live Fitjar!

The Slåtterøy fragrance has in some cases been known to cause wanderlust.

Tempting as it may be to massage the luscious lather all over your face, keep it away from the eye area. Eating it will not make you a more dashing explorer, so let’s reserve it for external use only.

Forgotten your brush? Don’t panic! Our shaving soaps can be used to create a creamy lather by hand. Simply rub the soap gently into your palm of your hand with a little warm water, and in a few moments you’ll have enough to apply directly to your skin, for a quality, moisturizing shave in a pinch.
